Sundance Studios began as a hobby for Patricia Bearg in 1975. She started by
framing photographs she had taken, then added calligraphy to the photographs, and
later framed the calligraphy with pressed flowers from her garden.

Patricia saw herself as a spiritual artist, reaching out to people through her framed calligraphy sayings. Living in Los Gatos, California she expanded her hobby into a small business.

In 1980, she moved Sundance Studios to Ashland, Oregon and 10 years
later invited her brother, Bruce and nephew, Brian to join, creating a family business.
Sundance Studios had since dissolved when Patricia passed away in 2002.

In 2008, Brian and Angela Bearg picked up where Patricia left off, keeping the original
theme of Sundance Studios alive. We have incorporated Patricia’s original writings
and artwork ideas, designed a more modern look and added sayings of our own. In doing so, we have created a product that we believe she would be proud of.
